Professional chain link fence installation for homes and businesses across central and coastal New Jersey — free on-site estimates, licensed and insured.
Free, no-obligation estimates. No spam, ever.
Chain link is the most budget-friendly way to secure a perimeter, and it’s far from one-size-fits-all. We install galvanized and vinyl-coated chain link in residential heights from 3 to 6 feet — and up to 12 feet for commercial properties — with gauge and mesh options matched to how you’ll use it.
Our crew sets every terminal and line post in concrete, stretches the fabric properly so it never sags, and hangs gates that swing true. Common installs include backyard perimeters, dog runs, and sports and commercial enclosures across all six counties we serve.
AT A GLANCE
Three steps from first call to finished fence.
Call, email, or use our contact form. We visit your property, walk the fence line, and assess terrain and access — no cost, no commitment.
We recommend the right style and specs for your goals and budget, handle permit guidance, and give you a clear written estimate before any work begins.
We mark the layout, set posts in concrete, install rails, panels, and gates, and clean up completely. We don’t leave until it’s right.
Most residential chain link installs are done in 1–2 days: posts are set in concrete on day one, and the fabric, rails, and gates go up once the concrete has cured. Larger properties or heavy slopes can add a day.
11.5 gauge is the standard for residential yards — strong enough for pets and daily use. For commercial or high-traffic security applications we recommend 9 gauge, which is noticeably heavier and more impact-resistant.
Yes — chain link is one of the best materials for slopes. We either follow the grade (contour installation) or step the fence, depending on the terrain and whether you need a gap-free bottom line for pets.
Most NJ municipalities require a fence permit, and height limits vary by town and by front/back yard. We walk you through your town’s requirements as part of the estimate — it’s usually a simple zoning permit.
If appearance and longevity matter, yes. The vinyl coating (usually black or green) resists rust longer, blends into landscaping, and typically adds only a modest premium over galvanized.
No two properties price the same. Every Imperial Fence quote is itemized in writing — these are the factors that move the number.
The biggest driver — more feet means more posts, panels, and labor. We measure exactly on the estimate visit.
Within any material, style and grade move the per-foot price — we quote the options side by side.
Slopes, rocky soil, and tight access add digging and cutting time. Flat, open yards install fastest.
Each gate adds hardware and build time — and quality gate hardware is worth every dollar.
Township permit fees and old-fence removal, when needed, round out the quote. Both are itemized in writing.
